Alps 2001

During August 2001, I spent four weeks in the European Alps on my first mountaineering trip beyond the shores of the UK.
I hope you find this account of interest, and know that many of you will have experienced the places I have visited for
yourselves. For those of you who have not, I trust that the accounts and pictures will provide you with a good insight into
the world of mountaineering and offer you a brief experience of the Alps through my own eyes.
